McLane Ranch is a 5,000-acre ranch on the Milam/Burleson County line in Central Texas. With 1,600 head of cattle, the working ranch supplies farm raised, free-roaming cattle to the beef industry. Operations focus on breeding Red Angus lines adapted to the nutrient values of Central Texas rangeland. A picturesque landscape surrounds the old Newton Lakes on the ranch. Another 1,400 acres near Hanover, at Cannon Snap Creek, supports the breeding operations.
